questions about your update page?
You can rest assured that the responses indicated on your Update Page are
an accurate reflection of the responses submitted by your guests. There
are a number of systems in place to make sure that each response that comes
in is recorded exactly as submitted.
The response form on your webpage cannot malfunction, and responses cannot
be "lost" unless the entire website goes down....which hasn't
happened in eight years. If your guest "submits" a response, it
will be recorded.
Our online form is an extremely simple form, unfortunately, we have no contol
as to how guests follow directions, and there have been instances where
a guest fills in their information, but forgets to click the "submit"
button. In these cases, their response is not submitted... but we will get
their response when we do callbacks.
RSVPing
online is a VERY simple process. The instructions are very clear and precise.
If a guest chooses to ignore the simple instructions and submits an incomplete
RSVP, it will be YOUR responsibility to contact the guest.
When guests respond online, your update page is immediately updated. Phone
RSVP's are updated as necessary.
In most cases the database is an accurate reflection of your responses,
but there could be occasions where the numbers on your page will appear
to randomly change. This is nothing to worry about. The numbers are being
kept accurately, but the display appears abnormal because you are attempting
to view the page at the same time someone is rsvping online to your wedding....or
we are "updating" your page.
TIP: If you view your page late in the evening there is less traffic, and
much less chance of this happening.
To make sure you are viewing the most current responses, "refresh"
your browser before you enter your update page. If you are still having
problems viewing the most recent responses, please clear the "cache"
on your computer.
